Property description
With these old character cottages, you’re never sure what going to see until you walk through the front door. Before visiting, the owner had described the property as a Tardis on the phone and now having the benefit of a full tour we completely agree.
The space on offer here is very surprising and welcoming, although from the exterior, the property has a fairly “cute cottage” façade, you will soon discover that this is a monster family house. Helped by its size, the layout could be changed or used in a different order to how it is currently but essentially here you will find spacious room after spacious room and enough accommodation for the biggest of families.
Being a character cottage, you will be pleased to hear the property has retained many of its original features and being located in such a sought after village location will help the appeal even further.
One of the main features of the property has to be the superb rear garden which benefits from lots of privacy and seclusion and its divine intervention management areas which really are a treat to be hold on a fine day. One thing worth noting, is that although technically this property is semi-detached there is actually a small cavity between your “adjoining wall” to your neighbour meaning that the properties are more attached than semi-detached.
What the Owner says:
We have lived at this property for 11 years. When we first moved in our two sons were living with us and it has been a great family home with plenty of space. The garden has always been a great asset to the house, it is south-westerly facing and gets the sun pretty much all day. It is also private and has a lot of scope for keen gardeners. It is with regret that we have decided it is now the right time to move. Our sons have left and have homes of their own so we do not need all the space provided and we are therefore down-sizing. Also our offspring all live now in the Tunbridge Wells area and have children so we would like to be closer to all. This property has been a great home. Many of our friends call it the 'Tardis', standing outside they have no idea of how roomy it is inside!
