Property description
Wow! What a lifestyle. This really is the most stunning period cottage set within beautiful English countryside on a substantial plot, close to village life, local shops and restaurants. In addition there are some first class walking and cycling trails locally. Approaching this property through the pretty village of Hollingbourne, straight away you get that lovely feel of glorious country living. The calm clean air allows you to envisage those pleasant drives home. Once parked, head straight into the front garden. What an impact and what a pretty looking cottage!
Upon entering this gorgeous house you get a strong sense of space and warmth. There has been no expense spared. From the kitchen, a chef’s delight, through to the lounge, this home is quite simply sensational. Envisage yourself sitting down in the light and spacious lounge with family and friends, the glorious log burner producing heat throughout, creating that warm glow.
Plenty of space here and once you have walked through onto the decking area you are in to the garden - what a joy! The decking area alone is a total success - cleverly done! Look onto the large flat garden which is enhanced by beautiful plants and trees.
There is huge potential in the workshop, in particular for anyone who is running a business.
Highly recommended for viewing.
What the Owner says:
We have lived here for about eight years and spent a lot of time and money in updating everything to make this a stunning home. Initially the location is what sold it to us; coupled with the size of plot and stunning views.
The village is not far and we have a number of excellent local pubs and eateries close by. It is so peaceful and tranquil yet not cut off from all the major roads. We upgraded all the windows to fit in with the character of the property and recently installed a new deluxe bathroom.
