Property description
This extended family home offers enough space for a growing family to spread its wings. The hub of the home is the large open plan kitchen/breakfast area, as there is enough space for the whole family to gather in here in the mornings. The kitchen area has plenty of work surface, giving you lots of space to prepare breakfast. You can just imagine the smell of fresh coffee and the sound of sizzling bacon on the stove and then your children taking their place around the table.
This house has the best of both worlds as not only does it have a large lounge, there is also a family room as well. The lounge will be perfect for everyone to get together to watch a film, or if you want somewhere quiet to sit and read then you will definitely be heading for the family room, which has a lovely outlook over the back garden. Both of these rooms have the added benefit of a log burner, giving you the ideal place to warm yourselves up when the weather turns a bit chilly.
There shouldn’t be any arguments over bedrooms as all four are a good size, and there is a family bathroom and a shower room as well, which will help to speed up the family getting ready in the mornings.
If you enjoy alfresco dining then you will love this garden during the summer months. The patio area will be the perfect place to have barbeques with friends and family and there is a large lawn where your children can play.
What the Owner says:
What attracted us to our house 15 years ago was the fact that this private estate felt like a very safe area. As we own a dog having the beach only a short walk away has been a real luxury.
We have done a lot of work to our home during the time that we have been here. We have replaced the extension roof with a fibreglass one which has 20 years left on the guarantee, installed a 16’ x 10 workshop, replaced all the windows, fascias and soffits, had the new drive laid, replaced both sets of French doors, installed a water softener and water filter, and, in September last year, we had solar panels installed at a cost of £11,500.
