When we bought this property some 30 years ago we were downsizing from a larger Victorian detached home in Wandsworth. We were attracted to this one by the lovely sizes of the rooms, the wonderful semi-rural location and the proximity to Chipstead station. We can walk to the station in under 5 minutes and get to London Bridge in around 40 minutes. We can also catch the 166 bus if we want to go to Banstead, Epsom or West Croydon.
We often take long walks at the weekend and can walk anywhere from Banstead to the M25. There are numerous pubs within this area where you feel you can get away from it all, including the ever-popular Ramblers Rest.
