Property description
Would you like to own a large family home with the opportunity of creating a second income or house a dependant relative?
This good and honest family home has been greatly extended and re-built and is now a fine example of a modern versatile house of substantial size, offering a bright and spacious well designed layout, conveniently situated on the outskirts of Porthtowan.
The ground floor is neutrally decorated and features a large centrally located family sitting room with log burner giving the room a sense of cosiness on those long winter nights. A south west facing sunroom looks out over the rear garden and would make a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the setting sun. The inner hall leads to the main family bathroom and a stunning conservatory which is flooded with natural light and opens out onto the front garden. The sauna room is an inviting adult retreat housing a 6 person sauna with washing facilities.
The kitchen and dining room form the heart of this spacious family home providing plenty of space to entertain or keep an eye on the children playing in the gardens. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with plenty of storage, composite worktops and breakfast bar with integrated Neff double oven, hob, dishwasher and a feature Franke extractor hood. Both rooms are complimented with natural slate tiled floors and plenty of light. Downstairs also includes a large utility cupboard and entrance porch.
The first floor boasts 4 good sized bedrooms with the master suite having its own personal en-suite shower room, whilst bedrooms 2 and 3 both have access to a “Jack & Gill” style en-suite shower room.
Outside, the property offers extensive parking in several areas in addition to a large double detached garage. The gardens extend to the front and rear with plenty of lawn space for children to play. A large sun deck bordered with railway sleepers and various patio seating areas all add to the versatility of the outside.
Found within the grounds is a superb detached bungalow which is much larger that it first appears. The property is beautifully presented throughout, offering a spacious open plan living space with modern fitted kitchen and breakfast bar creating the dining space. The hallway leads to 2 bedrooms and the shower room. This excellent addition is on its own title and would make a delightful holiday letting unit, annexe to the main property or even a long term rental.
These extensions and improvements have created a stunning, practical home that really must be seen to appreciate the layout, the amount of accommodation on offer and the variety of opportunities provided by the extra dwelling and garaging.
