Property description
This substantial grade II listed period farmhouse offers some stunning character features throughout such as handsome carved period fireplaces and stone mullioned windows to some rooms.
The estate offers five different outbuildings, which offer enormous potential to any buyer as additional accommodation, subject to relevant permissions.
The current owner has more recently used these outbuildings as stores and workshops and many have both power and water supplies.
Serving as a fantastic family home over many years, the property offers a gardens, paddock and a woodland area amounting to very generous land.
On arrival in this picturesque location the large courtyard offers an extensive parking area, surrounded by the barns, and two of the barns could serve as garaging for a number of vehicles if required.
The property is grade II listed and would be ideal for any buyers looking to own a fantastic period home which they can make their own mark on.
The ground floor of the home offers two substantial reception rooms, as well as a rear conservatory with great views over the garden and paddock.
To the first floor are three of the five double bedrooms where views of the surrounding area are a delight to be taken in. Continuing from here the second floor has two additional double rooms, where the views continue to excel.
Outside you have a lovely garden which you could create a space perfect to sit out and enjoy throughout the changing seasons.
Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances. What the Owner says:
This property has served as a fantastic family home since my childhood, owned by my father since 1954. We have many wonderful childhood memories from growing up here in the country.
Due to the volume of outbuildings there is so much scope for any buyer to utilise the property for a business or purely to have ample storage for vehicles as we have done over the years.
We will be sad to let go of the house, but know the time has come for someone else to enjoy this beautiful building.
