This picturesque village offers a Post Office, butchers, two pubs, 13th Century church, a poplar school and not forgetting the park, tennis courts and cricket pitch.
This beautiful converted granary is full of charm and period features set in large attractive gardens. The gardens are just breathtaking with many beautiful seating areas set around wonderfully stocked borders, mature trees and a fantastic pond, complete with decking making a great place to enjoy the summer. You also have a barbecue area and spa area, what more could you want from a garden?
On entering this home you will see it has a lovely cosy feel with exposed beams over head. The formal dining room is just fantastic with exposed floor boards and space for that large dining room table; perfect for the family who loves to entertain, it also has splendid views over the garden The lounge continues this theme with a wealth of period features to include an open fireplace, exposed beams over head and patio doors giving access the garden. The kitchen/breakfast room is just what you would expect from a property from this period with its bespoke units and tiled floor this really does have the look and feel of original farmhouse kitchen but with all modern fixtures and appliances.
What the Owner says:
Since owning the property I have done considerable works to the house and garden, one of the main changes is to the gardens It was originally just all grass and after putting myself through college I was able to complete the garden as you see it today.
I have also done the following works to the house: double glazing has been added to the front of the house, the doorway in the dining room has been moved to create more space, new kitchen and flooring, new bathroom suites and floors sanded down.
I love the views and the garden is something I will really miss.
