Property description

In a prominent position within the heart of a popular village lies a family house you will want to call home.

Pull up and take advantage of off road parking for a few plus the added benefit of a garage.

As well as being a great family home the open plan kitchen/diner enjoys not just an outlook to the front but also the rear through large patio doors. It is as easy to imagine children sat up at the table with homework or a post school snack as it is friends gathered with nibbles and fizz if you were playing host.

The doors open out on to the garden and in the warmer months invite you out to enjoy the extra space.

A roaring wood burner now takes centre stage in the lounge and makes the return from a countryside stroll or the local pub all the more enjoyable.

A shower room on the ground floor makes the morning rush for all less frenetic and with far less dramas.

Three impressively sized bedrooms span the first floor. Bedroom 2 offers plenty of room for more than just a double bed and wardrobe.

The current owners added the loft area and the results give such a great space. A landing that could double up as a study area takes you to a large bedroom which has the best views in the house. A shower room is not an en-suite, but would in essence become one.

The village has a sought after primary school, renowned butcher, local shop, two pubs and a few other shops too. The countryside strolls available will not see boredom set in either.

What the Owner says:

We moved from East Grinstead and wanted to be in a village environment. The potential and the position of this house made it attractive, the space within was great too. Since moving in we have added the second floor bedroom and en-suite making it a great space. We have also added the wood burner in the lounge making it so much more cosy on colder nights. We've really enjoyed living here: the children grew up here and went to the local primary school. As much as it has been a great family home it has been great for entertaining too. We have seen changes in the surrounding area, such as the nearby pub which has been redeveloped and turned into houses with only a small section remaining at the junction of Maypole Road/Woods Hill Lane.
