“Over the years, we have made a great effort to sympathetically extend the house to ensure we retained the original charm of the property both internally and externally – including the country-style double carport. For 10 years we developed a small vineyard as a hobby but last year removed the vines, but if anyone wants to start again we still have all the winemaking equipment in the ‘Overland Winery’ as well as a temperature controlled wine cellar in the old wash house. The area is a golfer’s paradise as there are 10 courses within a radius of about 12 miles, including the Championship courses at Royal St. George’s and Prince’s. If you like to exercise, there is a well-equipped gym, complete with TV in the existing outbuilding. There are wonderful foot paths and bridleways in every direction and we are only 10 miles from Canterbury and 5 miles from Sandwich. Ash village is 1.7miles for everyday essentials and there are also three farm shops within a few minutes drive.“
