Property description
KEYWORTH: With a little imagination and some home improvements, 'Redwood' on Delville Avenue will make somebody a wonderful 'Forever Home'. This 3 or 4 bedroom Chalet Bungalow style property sits on a generous plot and has oodles of off-road car-parking. The property has a large garage, and generous living accommodation and is a short walk from Crossdale Drive Primary School.
WHY SHOULD YOU VIEW?
'Redwood' will make an outstanding family home and it is situated in a very popular village with outstanding schooling. Keyworth has lots to offer with a choice of pubs, restaurants, and busy local shops. For those with a sporting inclination, the village also has thriving football, cricket, and rugby clubs, and there is also a members gym with a small swimming pool.
WHAT THE CURRENT OWNERS SAY...
The house was individually designed by an architect to be his own home. We especially liked the style and character created by the angular shapes of the ground floor rooms. With the house being well recessed from the street, complete privacy is provided by the trees in the front garden. In summer, one of our guests described it as ' living in a park'. The house has the longest frontage of any house on Delville Avenue (measured as a bet by a neighbour - he lost!). In recent years the property has been rented out as we have located to outside the area. It would be lovely to see the house enjoyed by a family again.
To the ground floor the property offers 2 large reception rooms, a large study or 4th bedroom, fully equipped kitchen with integrated appliances, and a family bathroom. On the 1st floor there are 2 large bedrooms and 1 single. There is also a separate shower room & WC.
To the rear, the property has a spacious maintained garden with mature trees and hedgerows. There is also access to the garage/workshop. The front of the house is secluded by well established trees, and has parking for up to 6 cars.
