Property description

You have no doubt been planning your retirement for many years and a fundamental part of that planning will have been to find a bungalow that ticks as many boxes as possible.

I have just returned from this property and have a serious case of envy! The accommodation is a fantastic size and there is a prevailing sense of privacy both inside and outside. Set at the end of a cul de sac you will have no traffic or people passing by the front and although the rear garden is behind the Thanet Way, I noticed more noise from the lawn mower in a neighbouring property.

The bedrooms are all a great size so you can invite the whole family to come and stay without having to put them on a rota. With an en-suite to the master bedroom you can retain your own sense of privacy.

Spill out from that incredible conservatory into the garden which incidentally was flooded with sun and enjoy some solitude with a good book or watch the grandchildren playing. When they fancy building sand castles the beach is just a short walk away.

With the station a short walk away you can catch up on a West End performance and some retail therapy the fruit of which could find a home in the (I want one of these) Walk in wardrobe!

What the Owner says:

I fell in love with this bungalow as soon as I set eyes on it for a variety of reasons. Being at the end of a cul-de-sac offers me masses of privacy and quiet instead of being surrounded by other houses and their noise. I am a keen hostess and there is plenty of space to entertain and to invite guests to stay overnight. I had a garden party where I lost count of numbers but there were 80-100 people in my home and it still did not feel crowded. Whitstable is a 20 minute walk away and living here I have no parking issues. I am also a keen cyclist and there are paths to Canterbury and the coast just at the end of my road. I changed the single bedroom into a walk in wardrobe as I really did not need a 4th room so I can have as many shoes and handbags as I want.
