We bought this bungalow to provide a safe, quiet home in a rural environment to bring up our boys. In fact, the house has given us so much more, a lot of outdoor dining for a start, not just large family BBQs but regular evenings on the deck, sipping wine, stargazing in absolute silence, the walls still warm from the day's sunshine.
Great walks, cycle paths and swimming in the sea are in easy reach and the neighbours are like an extended family. An abundance of amazing pubs and restaurants are just a short drive away.
Even after 14 years, crossing the bridge to the Island feels like going on holiday.
