It was originally built by my father in the 1970s and my parents enjoyed living here for the rest of their lives. We have since renovated it completely as we originally thought we would move here ourselves. However, due to a change in circumstances, we are no longer moving so are hoping another family will enjoy everything that we have done to create somewhere really special. It is a lovely area to live as there are wonderful walks along the clifftop path. This is part of the North Downs Way and is literally on your doorstep and here you can enjoy a coffee break at the Clifftop Café or a drink at one of the local pubs including the Lighthouse, The Royal Oak and the Valiant Sailor. Your friends will be interested to visit the Battle of Britain Memorial in Capel and, once a week, the Farmer’s Market provides many delights to tempt your palate – from local meat to freshly-caught seafood. At the same time, with the Channel Tunnel so close, we can be in France for dinner in an hour from home and with the high-speed train from Folkestone it is equally quick to get to London so, apart from being a beautiful spot, it is also very convenient and Folkestone itself has a wide variety of shops and restaurants.
