Property description
Backing onto a pretty wooded area is this attractive four storey family home, within the popular village of Sellindge. Sellindge benefits from a village store, public house, doctor’s surgery, village hall and a great primary school.
If you enjoy entertaining, this home will not disappoint, as it has a fantastic kitchen/diner with enough space for a large dining room table and chairs. You can just imagine preparing dinner whilst your guests sit around the table, chatting over a good glass of wine.
The lounge is going to be the perfect place to sit and relax as it has a lovely outlook over the back garden and the woods beyond. You can just imagine sitting here with the glazed door open and a cool summer breeze blowing through.
On the first floor there is a small study, which will be great if you want somewhere quiet for your children to do their homework. This room could also double up as a playroom or storage area.
There is a fantastic main bedroom, which occupies the entire second floor. Storage shouldn't be a problem as there are three double built-in wardrobes and getting up in the morning should be a joy as there is an en-suite shower room, so you can simply roll out of bed and into the shower.
The current owners are keen gardeners and they have definitely worked their magic on this pretty cottage garden.
What the Owner says:
We bought this property from new and have certainly not been disappointed. We love the views from our lounge and love the space that this home has to offer.
At the bottom of our garden there is a gate which leads to an open area on the river bank. We have spent many summer evenings sat on the bench overlooking the river and have seen voles, kingfishers, woodpeckers and squirrels; so if you would like to live in a modern home in a rural setting, then our home could be perfect for you.
We are now looking to move to Lympne and we will be really sad to leave our home, as we have been very happy here.
