Property description
If you appreciate the finer things in life then this beautiful home is bound to impress you. Even at first glance you can tell that the house looks elegant and inviting. When you step inside you will likely be bowled over with the classic decor and stunning period features.
Imagine being snuggled on the sofa in the lounge area with the log burner blazing whilst watching a film.
The bathroom is rather luxurious with a big roll top bath where you can enjoy a long soak in the tub with some atmospheric candles alight on top of the focal fireplace. For the occasions when time is of the essence there is a separate shower cubicle so you can get ready a bit more swiftly.
Having the accommodation over 4 floors also means that you have plenty of space to get away from each other. The top floor would lend itself to being your children's bedrooms. There is also a large landing which could easily be a study area.
The home is set in Dover's Conservation Area, only a short walk to the train station and town centre. The road is surprisingly quiet given its central location.
There is hard standing to the front which would be ideal for off road parking subject to enquiries.
If you want a period property in central Dover then you must take a look.
What the Owner says:
When I first looked at the house I fell in love with the original features as well as the amount of space it had. Since moving in I have renovated it by plastering where needed, re-decorating throughout and installing a new kitchen, downstairs toilet and bathroom. I also put in column radiators to be in keeping with the house.
I had French doors fitted to the front and rear of the kitchen/breakfast room which makes it a lovely room to sit in with plenty of light. I class here as the hub of the home and spend a lot of time here with my family.
