When we were looking we really wanted a three bedroom house and a home that we could improve on and, possibly, extend into the loft, although that is something we never quite got round to.

After moving in we discovered the fireplaces had been "boxed in" and believe that they are the original ones so it was a very pleasant surprise indeed.

The house is unrecognisable from when we moved in and, in recent weeks, have repainted both inside and out so that the new owners can move straight in.
