Property description

The perfect location for a family home where you have everything you need all around you. You are able to walk up the road into Cliftonville where you have a variety of shops and supermarkets and of course the main bus route. Walk down the hill and it will take you toward the trendy Margate Old Town, golden sandy beach and on to the high-speed train station.

As soon as you enter the hallway of this home you get a sense of warmth and comfort, and the exposed wooden floors really set it off. The lounge is cosy yet of ample size to accommodate friends and family when they visit and depending on the size of your family with three good sized bedrooms upstairs, should they wish to make a weekend of it.

That said you also have a lovely Kitchen/ Breakfast room which has enough space for all the family to sit round and enjoy an evening meal, whilst catching up on the day's events. There is also a separate dining room which if you don't need it, could be used as a children's playroom or as yet more sleeping accommodation.

Outside you have a low maintenance rear garden which is ideal for the working family and a shed which could be used as a handy workshop. This home is superbly presented and there is certainly more to it than meets the eye.

What the Owner says:

I have lived here for over 30 years, and it has been a great family home for me, raising my four children. However, they have now all grown up so it is time to move on and go to something more manageable. Since being here I have obviously kept the property in shape and more recently I have decorated and exposed the floorboards etc.

The size of the rooms has been perfect for raising a family and exposed the floorboards which has really added to the feel of the home. It is so central to everything, which I find really helpful when the kids were young we could have additional space for a playroom or more sleeping accommodation.
