We were first drawn to the property mainly based on the position. It's quiet, peaceful and being a cul-de-sac no-one else has any need to drive down here. It's a great location in terms of access, you can be on the M2 in a matter of minutes, you've got easy access to Hempstead Valley, Rochester or Maidstone.
The house itself gave us options as well. Although it was just us, it gave us the space to expand if we decided we wanted a family; not just bedroom space, the living space is great too. The kitchen's my favourite, it's great for entertaining, guests can sit at the table and we can still talk while I make the drinks. It's much more social.
