Property description
As soon as you approach this elegant and spacious period property, situated in the heart of Gravesend and within touching distance of the town centre you will, undoubtedly, be impressed.
The property has been refurbished throughout with an extension on the ground floor to the rear so, once you step inside, the presentation and sheer size of the accommodation on offer will leave you amazed. Downstairs, there is plenty of room for all the family to stretch out and have their own space and, as all of the rooms have glass adjoining doors, the ground floor is flooded with natural light throughout. If you need more sociable living accommodation then you can simply throw open the doors between each room allowing the ground floor to feel almost completely open plan, the perfect space for entertaining. So you really do get the best of both worlds! The utility area is ideal to keep the laundry out of sight and, as well as there being an upstairs bathroom, there is a downstairs shower room which is a bonus for when guests come calling and will certainly help ease the morning rush. Upstairs, the bedrooms are also all neutrally decorated, allowing you a blank canvass for you to put your own personal stamp upon. All you need to do is simply collect your belongings and move straight in, as there really is nothing to be done here.
Externally, there is a pleasant rear garden with enough space for the little ones to let off some steam and the garage at the bottom of the garden has rear access.
What the Owner says:
We fell in love with this house as we liked the area, and felt the rooms were of a great size and, although it needed a lot of work, we could see the potential of what it could become.
We have carried out a lot of work to this house including a complete rewire, new roof, re-plastering and decorating throughout. We also fitted new double radiators and installed under floor heating in the ground floor extension which can be used independently of the main household heating system.
The location is perfect as it is quiet yet everything needed is within walking distance, including the town centre and the train station. Now, thanks to the high speed service, you can be in the heart of London in just over twenty minutes.
