Property description
As you sit inside your home here you really will feel away from it all; relax as you gaze out into the private front and back gardens which are particularly secluded and the spot is one that is pleasantly quiet due to the setting being a short landscaped pedestrian approach. Easy parking is available on a first come first served basis behind the rear garden, making it convenient to pop into the home via the back gate.
This property is of an era when houses were built to last; there is something comforting about a traditional brick house that inspires confidence and makes them feel solid and dependable, more so than many modern homes with plasterboard walls.
A proper entrance hall keeps your living space free from the stairs and cosy too. Two reception areas mean you can have a dedicated dining area or a space for the children with their toys or maybe utilise it as a room to work from home which is gaining popularity today.
Always high on the “wish list” is a ground floor cloakroom, great for when you have children and means you have a toilet on each floor too which you have here. Living here you wouldn’t really even need a car day to day as you can walk to shops, the supermarket, doctors and schools too. It is a commuters dream with choices of commuter coach, rail stations and the M20 at junction 4 is a short hop down the road.
Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances. What the Owner says:
This has been a comfortable family home in our family’s ownership for over 40 years where the location is characterised by similar homes with many long standing neighbours.
There are some wonderful leisure pursuits locally; you can go for a swim at the Larkfield Leisure Centre, amuse the smaller children at Tiny Town or visit the 250 acres of lakes at Leybourne Lakes Country Park where there is a variety of activities in scenic surroundings including fishing, windsurfing, scuba diving, cycling and wonderful walks.
We hope the next owners will be as happy as our family have been here.
