When we first saw this house we thought it had a good amount of space to think about raising a family and it had a nice homely feel.
Since owning the house we have had a new boiler installed, wiring chased in and re-plastered all the walls. We also exposed floorboards and opened up the fireplaces to put the character back into the home.
We love the light and airiness of the house. In the summer, regardless of how hot it is outside, it always stays nice and cool indoors. We put in a decking area which overlooks the rest of the garden and we now have a lockable side gate which makes the area nice and secure for our children to play outside.
We are only moving as we want to live in a nearby village.
