Property description
Houses in this road rarely come up for sale and houses on this side on the road are even rarer. This is because houses on this side were built much later and normally have large rear gardens with vehicle access. This house is a great example of that because it has a useful garage at the far end of the garden. It is an excellent family home due to its layout and it has been kept up to date by its current owners. It has a pleasant through lounge/dining area which enjoys views out over the garden and there is a bright and airy feel throughout.
The location is ideal if you require quick and easy access for the road or rail facilities, commuters can walk to Dartford station in approximately 10-15 minutes and the A2/M2 and M25/Dartford Crossing are literally moments away.
The position of this house is excellent for those with children because it is close to a selection of good schools, including Oakfield Primary School and, for older children, Wilmington Boys and Girls Grammar schools and the Wilmington Academy are also within a short distance. If you enjoy exercising, you can walk around the nearby lakes, or if you prefer some retail therapy, Bluewater and Dartford's traditional market town are both also on the door step.
What the Owner says:
This house has been in our family for many years and it has always been a really nice place to live. The location is exceptionally convenient for lots of different amenities and it is an ideal place to commute from. Dartford station is within walking distance and it is only a few minutes drive from access to the motorways.
We have always tried to keep the house up to date internally and it also has a good sized rear garden.
There is a useful Co-op store at the end of the road as well as a choice of local pubs and even an excellent Chippie. Bluewater is only a short distance away , so you will never be short of things to do.
