Property description
Look forward to living the country life when you move into this wonderful period cottage. In your free time you can walk outside your front door and you are right on the edge of countryside with miles of public footpaths, ideal for walking or maybe a cycle ride.
In a winters evening you can cosy up in the front lounge area which has an open fireplace. The separate dining area is perfect for your table and chairs and to all sit round for Sunday lunch.
Even though you will be situated in a village location you are never too far away from amenities. There is a local primary school, shops and even a chinese takeaway.
If you commute into London you can pick up the high speed train from Strood railway station which can whiz you into London in approximately 45 minutes. There is also a commuter coach service that picks up Monday to Friday. Within a few minutes by car you can be onto the Wainscott bypass which connects you to the M2 and A2 linking you to London or the Kent coast.
What the Owner says:
Having been raised in the village I have many fond memories of what has been a lovely area to live. There is such a good local community with many clubs and organisations that you can get involved in throughout the year.
There is an excellent local primary school and large recreational grounds, tennis courts and play parks. One of the big advantages with our home is the side access which makes it much easier for getting things in and out of our rear garden and makes our accommodation on the first floor much larger with the additional space.
I am sure the new owners will be as happy as we have been here over the last seven years.
