From our Denbigh office turn right onto Lenton Pool, take the first exit following up and past Morrisons, the road will bend right and keep following the road until reaching Groes, continue through Groes not turning off and you will reach Bylchau follow through Bylchau and follow signs for Llyn Brenig. Follow the B5401 past the Brenig Reservoir, approximately half a mile after the Brenig you will start dropping down with open land on the left and forestry on the right. You will see an old lagoon on your left and there is the turning to the Alwen Reservoir on the right, do not turn right at this point but continue a further hundred metres and turn right down a narrow tarmac road.
