The people we bought the house from had been here since it was built in 1955 so we had a little updating to do!
Luckily it wasn't the thing that attracted us to the house, the big garden and bedroom sizes were what we loved and still do. Obviously we've changed quite a lot since moving in 10 years ago.
The electrics have been rewired and we've fitted a new boiler and radiators. All the windows are triple glazed and we replaced the fascias and soffit. Of course, we redecorated the whole house and we've also done a huge amount in the garden.
