When we originally looked at the property, we immediately thought it had curb appeal and the layout of the house was great for us having a young family.
Given that I studied horticulture, I was really taken in by the garden as it had so much space and a lot of substantial trees and plants. It has been an ideal family garden and is a real sun trap. In the spring, the cherry blossom looks amazing. There always seems to be something in bloom. Sometimes, when we entertain, we have opened up the side gate and let all the guests park alongside the house. There is plenty of space.
The kitchen/diner is really the hub of the house. We often sit out here and it gives us all a good opportunity to catch up at the end of the day.
