As you drive down the road you have a fantastic view of open fields and Ranmore and with the Dorking/Westcott/Abinger cycle path just a minute or two away this is the ideal location if you love cycling, walking or just being outdoors in the fresh air. Once inside the lounge is a good size with plenty of space for a sofa or two and ideal if you fancy putting your feet up in front of the television. The kitchen/diner has been extended and is perfect for entertaining or just simply being together as a family, the children can be doing their homework at the table while you prepare their tea and if they’re outside playing in the garden it’s easy to keep an eye on them. Upstairs the bedrooms are a good size with the family bathroom being downstairs. With a driveway and separate detached garage to the side it’s easy to imagine, subject to the usual planning consents, extending to the side to create four bedrooms, an upstairs bathroom, extra space downstairs, the choice is yours to make. Westcott is a thriving village with a real sense of community and has a village school, church, bakers, shop, pub, wine bar and Indian restaurant so if you fancy village life book a viewing today.
Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances. What the Owner says:
This has been our family home for 46 years and was a great place to live while we were growing up. There is a real community spirit in the road and all the neighbours are friendly and look out for each other. It was a real bonus to have the open countryside right on our doorstep.
Around 25 years ago the kitchen was extended and around 7-8 years ago a new kitchen was fitted. Since then the double glazing has been replaced in the rest of the house and in 2015 it was re-wired and a new boiler installed along with new radiators in the hall and lounge. In recent months most of the house has been re-plastered, re-decorated and new carpets fitted.
We are now looking to sell with no onward chain.
