Property description
It is no coincidence that people move very rarely from the village of Westcott. With such a lovely community spirit and some fabulous surroundings, who can really blame them? Family living is most definitely on the cards with this superb home so if you crave space you will be very impressed the minute you step inside. If you like entertaining you will be blown away by the size of the lounge and dining areas, cleverly combined into one fantastic open plan layout. Effortlessly accommodating a dining table and chairs as well as lots of room for sofas, it's easy to see this space being the hub of the home. If you've always wanted a large kitchen area, you will be pleasantly in awe of the size of the one here and had the current owners been staying they would have put into action their plans for a brand new kitchen which they have the designs for. If you find yourself with a house full there is plenty of room upstairs for everyone, with the bedrooms all being double. You might want to keep the one with the luxury en-suite bathroom for yourself as it can only be described as stunning, mind you, the same can also be said for the family bathroom. Outside the good size garden is perfect for the kids to tire themselves out in as it offers plenty of lawn for them to play on and room for you to grow your own. This wonderful home has undergone a complete transformation over the years with a double storey extension, a new roof, new boiler and windows, replaced both bathrooms and every room has been redecorated.
What the Owner says:
We have lived in Westcott for 27 years which in itself says it all! Our parents were born here and our children went to the village school just like they did, so it's definitely close to our hearts! It's a beautiful village surrounded by glorious countryside with local shops, a bakery and post office at our disposal, as well as the pub, wine bar and Indian restaurant too. Both the play school and village school are within walking distance from here and you can even walk to Dorking too. In fact we rarely used the car as we used to enjoy the leisurely stroll through fields into town. We have many friends in the village and we will be sad to leave our neighbours who are like part of our family now. However, it's now time for us to move closer to our children and grandchildren.
