Property description

Before buying a home most people have a wish list based around their current and predicted future circumstances. Proximity to work, schooling, general amenities and public transport are often at the top of the wish list.

If your idea of the perfect property is one that has a lovely garden, is within striking distance of London by rail and is semi detached with a private driveway, then please read on as this could be the perfect home for you.

We are often told this area is popular for commuters as Tadworth is still within “Zone 6” for rail travel, with a service to London Bridge in around forty minutes.

It’s the generously proportioned rooms, size of the garden and side road location that often attracts potential buyers to these particular properties, together with the close proximity to the Downs and the fact that Epsom, Banstead, and Sutton town centres were just a short drive away.

Although the property gives a new buyer the chance to put their own stamp on it, the basics are already here like central heating, cavity wall and loft insulation, and the double glazing was replaced just 2 to 3 years ago. There won’t be the need to get up a ladder either to paint the soffits or replace the guttering because it has already been done.

What the Owner says:

My parents first saw this property when it was just a building plot. They wanted to move away from the hustle and bustle of Morden to a more semi-rural location and came here around 60 years ago.
It's been a lovely family home to grow up in as my 3 sisters all remember with many fond memories.
The local shops are very useful for day to day needs and we would often walk across Burgh Heath to Asda. The location makes it accessible to London whilst still being able to live in a pleasant setting. We would often go for walks over Epsom Downs and Headley to take in the country air.
My parents' pride and joy was the garden. With its position, it is nice and sunny, it’s a secluded and interesting garden that has been very well cared for.
