Property description
As you turn into Woodstock Road you will notice the first few homes on the right hand side have a particular presence in their elevated position and of a definite character. This home is no exception and it is easy to see just from the kerb appeal why the current owners jumped at the chance to buy it.
Having been sympathetically improved there are many of the original features still prominent such as picture rails and open fireplaces. Bought into the 21st century with a modern kitchen and what can best be described as a 5 star luxury bathroom you will find this home to be perfect, modern and comfortable living.
Relax in the conservatory overlooking the secluded garden or sit out on the patio and enjoy the sunshine.
This is also a home that will be great to entertain guests, friends and family. A cosy lounge which benefits from the bay window and has a fireplace that will be perfect for those winter evenings. A generous size dining area offers space for a large table and chairs, great for dinner parties or the Sunday lunch.
You are never too far away from everything you need. A short walk will take you into central Strood or walk over the bridge and into Rochester with its plentiful coffee shops, restaurants and places of interest. There is so much to explore and see with this home and it is difficult to get in just a few words so come and take a look inside and see for yourself.
What the Owner says:
We have thoroughly enjoyed living here over the last nine years and are lucky to have great neighbours. It is so accessible to the motorway within a few minutes by car and the A2 for access to Bluewater within 20 minutes. The train station is close by with its high speed link into London which can take you into St Pancras within 35 minutes with tube connections to the West End and City. There are some excellent schools within walking distance and we also have the benefit of the countryside close by with places like Shorne Country Park and Ranscombe Nature Reserve. We often enjoy a visit to the nearby river front village of Upnor. It is ideal for a stroll or a delightful family Sunday lunch in one of the many fine pubs that can be found there.
