Property description
This spacious home dates back to the 1930's and will tick many boxes for families either looking to move into the area or to upgrade within the Reigate location.
As soon as you arrive on the doorstep, you will notice that many features have been retained from the era that the property was built in including picture rails, original floors, fireplace and parquet flooring. Each room is really spacious with high ceilings, the property provides a blank canvas for a future owner to apply their own stamp in terms of kitchen, bathroom, and with planning permission, even extension work. Many of properties on this road and within the immediate vicinity have carried out that 'must have' living/kitchen area extension as well as loft conversions with some houses being as big as five bedrooms.
The position is ideal as it is a short walk away from Reigate train station with easy access to major stations in London, as well as a short walk to Reigate town centre with an eclectic mix of cafes, bars, restaurants, high street shops, major employers, local college and the renowned award winning Priory Park, as well as being a short car journey away from the M25 and Gatwick Airport.
What the Owner says:
We have lived in this house for over 40 years and truly have many happy memories of our lovely family home.
The location is superb, especially being so convenient for the town centre, we can walk to everything.
The front has a sunny aspect with the sun pouring through the front windows and also into our rear garden. We really love gardening and have landscaped the garden over the many years we have been here. We have enjoyed many spring, summer and autumn months particularly in our summer house.
We hope that the new owners will enjoy living here as much as we have.
It is now time to move nearer to our family so have decided to relocate to the Devon location.
