We moved here as a young family many years ago, looking for the archetypal family home. We quickly realised that we were very fortunate to see the house as soon as it came on the market as it was perfect. I work in the city, so being close to a London mainline railway station is important. The children also don’t have far to travel to school.

We have considered the idea of adding to the house, as there are a lot of houses in the road that have converted the loft and or extended, but as we never outgrew our home, a large conservatory was all we needed. Whilst we will miss the house, we will also miss the road and the sense of community that you just don’t get elsewhere.
