Property description
Sit back, relax and take in the view as you enjoy watching the change of seasons, this property has an outlook of fantastic semi-rural views from a copse of trees to an open countryside scene.
You and your family will be sure to spend quality family time together, whether you are preparing the evening meal in the kitchen/diner whilst looking over the children as they do their homework or making the most of this location with easy access into the town centre, yet on the outskirts so you can enjoy outdoor pursuits such as a walk up onto the South Downs or along the banks of the River Ouse.
With three good size bedrooms, this home will suit any growing family's needs. If you are looking to add value or extend the property further, then this house has a fantastic opportunity to build into the plot (subject to planning permission), so would make an ideal long term investment.
Lewes is the historic county town of East Sussex and boasts a wealth of history. Situated in the recently formed South Downs National Park, it offers good access to the coast and countryside. The variety of High Street chains, independent retailers, cafes, restaurants and traditional public houses make for fun weekends or nights out. The mainline train station offers direct links to London, Brighton or East along with coast and the popular, well regarded schools are all close by.
What the Owner says:
Having enjoyed living in this house for well over thirty years, we love the location, the feeling of space and the wonderful views. We have considered extending and developing the house many times but we just didn't need the extra space but are confident that this potential will be seen and hopefully benefitted from by the next owners.
We have made good use of an allotment space next door, although this does not come with the house, there is always potential for others to look into arranging a plot. We shall certainly be staying in Lewes as we love the town so much but with great sadness we must leave this home as it is time for us to downsize.
