Property description
Set in a prominent position facing on to the Horsham Road, this traditional red brick semi detached home could be the ideal place to start a family.
A real selling point to this property is the gardens that are set to the front, side and rear with attached brick built stores that have been developed and extended by some of the local neighbours.
Inside, the layout is surprisingly spacious with a superb size kitchen breakfast room to get out the recipe books and cook up a storm in with plenty of natural light flooding in.
If relaxing is more your thing then the large, bright lounge/diner is the perfect place to make your mark. With plenty of room to unwind, you can kick off your shoes and put your feet up in style. Equally, there is ample room to accommodate a table and chairs, transforming the room into a haven for entertaining and dinner parties.
There is plenty of room for guests to stay the night with ease with well proportioned bedrooms and a family bathroom upstairs which is also ideal for family living.
When the warmer weather arrives, you can sit out in the large back garden and soak up some sunshine or throw a barbecue and invite everyone over to enjoy it with you. Within walking distance of the town centre, you can leave the car at home and make the most of Dorking' quaint shops, bars and restaurants. Likewise, commuters can walk to the stations and all of Dorking' finest schools are within reach from here.
What the Owner says:
We moved here as fell in love with the space it offered. With kids in tow, it was important to find somewhere that gave us enough room to grow as a family. This house ticked that box and in comparison to so many others we had viewed, it was by far the largest we had seen. We also loved the fact that the house had potential and had big plans for what we could do and how we could transform it. We haven't done those plans yet so they can now become the dream for someone else as we have decided we want to move further out to the villages instead. It's a great family home though and we will miss the convenience of living somewhere that we can still walk into the town from.
