Property description
This characterful cottage is set back above and away from the Henfield Road which connects Cowfold with nearby Henfield and Partridge Green. The property is believed to be nearly 100 years old and still maintains much of its charm following an extension by a previous owner. This property offers and benefits from off road parking and an integral garage.
The beautiful cast iron log burner in the lounge forms the main focal point of the room and throws the heat out on those dark cold winter evenings. The quality double glazed window keeps the heat in for you and renders external noise essentially unnoticeable. The dining area behind opens up into the kitchen area which was refitted approximately 5 years ago. Again the owners opted for quality, the Paula Rosa units have been well cared for and still look new. The utility room has a walk in pantry and hides away the washing machine, it also leads through to a very handy shower room. On the first floor bedroom one has a large built in wardrobes and there are two further good size bedrooms all serviced by the huge 4 piece family bathroom, so you can shower in the morning when time is short, and take a relaxing bath of an evening when your time is your own to do as you please.
The rear garden is a great size with plenty of space for the children to run around in. You get plenty of sunshine throughout the afternoon and evening once the warmer summer months come back again.
What the Owner says:
We used to live around the corner in Station Road and loved living in Cowfold, so we were keen to stay within the village. Once again we wanted a property with character and charm but really needed somewhere with easier parking, a larger garden and ideally bigger bedrooms. So this property was perfect for us.
Cowfold is surrounded by beautiful countryside and there are so many public footpaths to go out and explore, the best way to spend a sunny afternoon and ideal for walking the dog.
We are well connected here being at the intersection of both the A281 and A272, whilst the M23 is just a few minutes’ drive away and gives easy access to Brighton, Gatwick Airport and the M25.
