Property description

Here is an opportunity to buy a lovely family home in popular Nunnery Road. It has lots of character and is of an attractive 1930’s style.

There is a lounge and a dining room on offer here. This could be great if you love entertaining and would like a formal dining room. You can then relax in the lounge afterwards. There’s even a downstairs cloakroom which will be very convenient for both you and your guests. There are 3 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs too. You could really get the garden at the rear looking lovely and it’s not hard to imagine sitting out here with a glass of wine on a warm evening. The off road parking at the front of the house is a real bonus to have in a location that is so close to the City centre.

If you want to be near the centre of Canterbury, you will simply love this location! It is only approx. 0.7 miles walking distance from here to Canterbury. This means you can easily enjoy all the delights on offer – maybe some shopping, a nice meal or time to investigate the fascinating buildings, architecture and history of the City centre. It’s approx. 0.3 miles to Canterbury East Station approx and 1.2 miles to Canterbury West. So, if you commute this could be a great location for you.

The current owner has this home set out as a 4 bedroom let property but it could easily be used as a lovely family home. It is being sold with NO ONWARD CHAIN.

Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.

What the Owner says:

I lived in this house whilst I was at university in Canterbury. I picked this house because I loved the style of the windows and the character. I also thought that the garden was lovely and it’s really beautiful in the summer. The location here was also a big deciding factor in picking this home. It’s a very prestigious road and has such good access to the City centre and both train stations too. Many improvement have been made to the house since 2006. At that time we renewed the kitchen, the bathroom and redecorated. The property has been rented out since I left university. There are currently tenants in there, but I am able to give them notice if a family wishes to buy the property.
