Property description
Is it time to move your family out of London and into the countryside? If so, then picture yourself coming home after a hard days work to this off-lane warm and welcoming family home. As the kids play in the secluded rear garden, you can enjoy a well earned glass of wine or perhaps your favourite frothy coffee.
The garden backs onto countryside and is the ideal place for a spot of alfresco dining with friends and family. For those special occasions, you will find plenty of space to put up your nearest and dearest as this property offers three double bedrooms.
Your pride and joy will undoubtedly become the recently refurbished bathroom, there is also plenty of space on the ground floor for any growing family's needs with a great kitchen/diner that will soon become the hub of the home.
If you are looking to become an integral part of this vibrant village and community, Barcombe has a rural feel with the countryside on your doorstep. Yet the county town of Lewes is only a ten minute drive away which offers primary and secondary schools, larger shopping amenities and a mainline train station with direct links to London and Brighton. There is a closer train station at Cooksbridge, only a couple of miles away from Barcombe. So there are no excuses to make that move and create a brilliant lifestyle.
What the Owner says:
Having fallen in love with Barcombe we wanted to find a home where we could grow roots and belong. We have lived in the village for nearly forty years now and in this house for twenty years.
The central proximity of the house within the village is perfect for our family's needs. Our children have attended the recently recognised 'outstanding' Ofsted primary school which is literally within thirty seconds walk of the house.
We have enjoyed the many activities that the local facilities offer and the train stations are really handy for work or family days out.
