What first struck us when we moved here was how peaceful the area was. We love being on the edge of the village and being able to walk the dog over to the pub in Thakeham, or to ride our bikes to one of the other surrounding villages. It's great to be so near to the South Downs National Park for the hiking and mountain biking trails.
We really enjoy entertaining and this house is great for that. The spacious lounge/dining room has meant that we can comfortably seat eight people and it's lovely in the Summer to be able to open up the French doors onto the decking area.
