Property description
I was always told as a child never to judge a book by its cover and it’s worthwhile remembering this as you consider this family home. Take the time to have a closer look and you will be pleasantly surprised.
The property has been well cared for and the owner has installed new double glazing and a new bathroom in recent years. The kitchen is a good size but we appreciate that buyers may wish to improve in time. We have naturally taken this into account within our pricing strategy to give buyers not only the opportunity to personalise their new home but to also add some real value to it as well.
The dining room is lovely and bright and a great size leading via double doors into the lounge, with the kitchen right next door there is scope to remove the dividing wall (with the necessary supports) and really open up the space if required.
On the first floor bedroom one has a range of built in wardrobes and an airing cupboard providing ample storage space, as does bedroom two. Bedroom three has the added benefit of a storage cupboard housing the boiler for those of you who enjoy warm toastie rooms in the winter.
The garden is a superb size, with a brick build shed and divided partly for vegetables, it makes the ideal sun worshippers garden. Backing onto woodland means there are all number of birds and animals that visit the garden including the occasional deer.
What the Owner says:
This has been my home all my life and my parents before me, it has been a really happy house. The garden over the years has been terraced and landscaped, the vegetable patch never fails to deliver, and it’s great having fresh vegetables to hand.
The location has been very handy as there is a shop just up the road. Arundel town is just a walk away which means you don’t have to fight to park the car.
The neighbours on both sides have lived here as long as I have and are really friendly but the garden is now becoming too much for me.
