Location
Hornsea is a lovely coastal town with a population of around 8,000. Great for visiting Hull, Beverley and beyond the town has retained it's friendly village atmosphere. A traditional seaside resort with a lovely beach, Hornsea also offers a good range of shops, especially at the Hornsea Freeport. There are plenty of recreational facilities including a leisure centre and golf course. There is also the lovely Hornsea Mere, and easy access to countryside walks, particularly along the Trans Pennine Trail, which used to be the railway line in and out of the town.
