Property description
Set within the sought after and beautiful village of Lympne you will find this wonderful home. This would be the perfect place for any family, as it has a fantastic primary school and there are some stunning walks around by the castle.
This home has been cared for by the previous owners and although it is a little bit dated, it is in very good condition. A new garage door was fitted last year and it has cavity wall insulation, loft insulation and is fully double glazed, which will help with the comfort stakes and hopefully keep down running costs.
One of the great things about this home is the accommodation is very flexible. There is a large storage cupboard, which could double up as a study, and this will be great if you need somewhere quiet for the children to sit and do their homework away from the distractions of the TV.
The lovely conservatory has a nice outlook over the back garden. You can just imagine sitting here with the morning sun streaming in, the doors open and a cool breeze blowing through, whilst you enjoy a cup of tea.
If you are a keen gardener then hopefully you can come and work your magic here. Currently just lawn, the garden is a blank canvas waiting to be transformed.
Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances. What the Owner says:
My dad lived here for 45 years and he loved every minute of living in Lympne. It's not just my dad that has lived here for a long time, his neighbours have also lived in their home for 43 years and that definitely says something about this location.
The village has a fantastic community spirit and as the locals use the village hall an awful lot, it is currently being extended.
If you like to pop out for lunch we would recommend that you go to the County Members Pub and if you run out of milk, the village shop is open all year round. When it comes to doing your weekly shop you are spoilt for choice, as Hythe has a Sainsburys, a Waitrose and the added benefit of the High Street.
