When we bought our home about 8 years ago, we knew the moment that we entered through the front door that this was going to be the house for us.
Since we have lived here, we have completely refurbished the cottage throughout and have tried to pay attention to the small details, so that we were able to retain the character. The kitchen area has been hand built from scratch using reclaimed wood and a state of the art dual fuelled wood and LPG gas heating system has been installed. Outside, we introduced an allotment area where we grow soft fruits and many vegetables. The summer house is an excellent place for some quiet time and the tree house and sunken trampoline are great when the grandchildren come to visit.
