Property description
This small development of homes is referred to as Quantock, as most of the homes lead off of Quantock Drive. Belmore Park is situated at the top of the hill and is within easy walking distance to the town and in fact most would probably chose to leave their car at home when making the journey to the shops or the station. There are also several schools nearby within a few minutes walk.
This delightful family home has been lived in by the current owners for over 8 years and they have really made it a lovely family property. The garage has been converted and opened out into the kitchen/diner and the result is a room that lends itself to day to day life with a dining area, breakfast bar and more cupboards than most would probably need! A conservatory at the rear adds even more space and opens out to the garden, which has been designed so that it can be used all year and is a fabulous area for entertaining. There is a large lounge and a useful downstairs toilet.
There are 3 bedrooms and family bathroom. Big windows throughout create the feeling of space and allow the light to enter the whole home and all the rooms flow from one to another making it an incredible social property and keeping the family connected.
What the Owner says:
When we came her in 2008 the house wasn’t great but having just extended and renovated our last property we could see the potential and certainly wasn’t put off. The first thing that we did was to convert the garage which has given us a lot more space and given the fact that garages tend to be mainly used for storage, we were sure we would benefit much more by creating a larger downstairs.
We extended the driveway and now have plenty of parking for us and visitors and the kitchen/diner and bathroom have both been updated.
We love the area, mainly due to its convenience. Our son is at the local school but the town, station and the motorway are all nearby.
