South Warnborough is a small rural village and civic parish in Hart. It is about 3 miles (4.8km) South of the village of Odiham and about 6 miles (9.7km) North of the town of Alton. The surrounding undulating countryside is unspoilt and the village contains old brick and half timbered cottages, many under thatch. The main part of the Village itself sits in a recognized conservation area. The local church, St Andrews, dates back in part to the 12th century. The high points within the Village include a recreation ground, a village hall which hosts village social occasions and events, a Village pub The Poacher, and a successful Village Shop and Post Office.
