FEES: An application to rent this property should be accompanied by a holding fee of £30 (inc VAT) per person which will secure the property, subject to contract, subject to the approval of the landlord and subject to favourable references being obtained. If the tenancy is to go ahead, a tenancy fee of 30% of one month’s rent plus VAT at the rate applicable will become payable, which sum will be discounted by the initial holding fee, along with the first month’s rent (or occasionally more, by agreement) and the full dilapidations deposit. Payment can be made by cash or cheque (payable to Haigh & Sons), but please bear in mind that the total of these amounts must be cleared prior to the commencement date of the tenancy.
