Property description
Only a stroll away from the charming artisan shops of Whitstable, but you might prefer a seafood lunch in the harbour and a stroll along the beach, so leave the car on the driveway and take in the sea air!
This detached house offers lots of scope to develop and extend if you want (subject to the necessary planning consents) but the layout is already generous.
A bay window allows in lots of natural light to the spacious lounge and with a separate dining room it allows enough room for enjoying a meal with friends without being in the same room as the children and the TV!
In the summer the garden will be a treat. At a round 60ft there is more than enough space to cater for children's toys, swings and so on whilst you relax with a cool drink in the sunshine.
Parking is such a premium in Whitstable, particularly on those long summer days, so having a driveway for a few cars is perfect.
A real rarity to the market so don't miss this one, it wont be around long!
Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances. What the Owner says:
Knowing the home has been in the family since the the 1960's really helps understand quiet how perfect the house has been for us.
Of course the position is so ideal for the town, harbour and the beach, but for a commuter the walk to the station takes only a few minutes too.
It is handy having a supermarket nearby for emergency groceries or a lovely fish & chip shop if you don't fancy cooking!
Sad to consider leaving here after so many years but I hope new owners enjoy it for as long as we have.
