Property description

If you are looking for a family home with some excellent sized downstairs accommodation, then you should definitely have a look at this!

Downstairs there is a really large lounge/dining area which you can just imagine relaxing in with your family and there will be plenty of space for everyone. There is also another reception room here too. This is also of a good size and could be used for whatever you need - maybe a fourth bedroom, a playroom, a study or a separate sitting room for the kids. It's really up to you!

The rear garden has excellent views across fields and these views can also be enjoyed from the back of the house. There's a garage, a driveway and lots more to see besides! Come and have a look.

This house is located before the railway crossing in Sturry, so you will not have any problems with having to queue to get across here in the morning if you are heading in the direction of Canterbury.

There is so much on offer in this location, beautiful countryside is minutes away, there are restaurants, pubs, shops and doctors in the villages of Sturry and Fordwich, plus Canterbury is only approximately 2.3 miles away.

What the Owner says:

I have lived very happily in this house since the 1960's, which I feel is a very good recommendation for both the house and the area. Sturry is a great location as there are so many facilities within walking distance, such as shops and doctors surgery and restaurants. Fordwich, which is a really beautiful little place is only approximately 10 minutes walk away; it's the smallest town in England, with two excellent pubs and very picturesque walks along the River Stour. The bus stop is only 6 houses down the road and the buses from here go into Canterbury. The train station is only a short walk away too. This has been a great family home for me, I have raised three children here and my favourite room is the lounge. It is a lovely big room and has excellent views over the garden.
