My parents moved into this home from new in 1972, when Dad was posted to Thorney Island with the RAF. This was their first and only family home.
They moved in not really knowing what it would be like but fell in love with Southbourne and the surrounding area which is why they have never moved.
Everything they needed was here schools, shops, doctors, dentist, church, railway with direct line up to London.
My parents are now in a local nursing home where they can get the care they need which is why this house is now up for sale.
