Property description

A truly stunning detached chalet bungalow situated in a setting offering the conveniences of excellent rail and road links around and out of the area and all that you would need on a day to day basis within a few minutes walk. The near by train station gives you access to Chichester with it's walled cathedral and festival theatre, as well as direct connections to London Victoria, London Bridge and London Gatwick. In the opposite direction you can get to Gun Wharf Quays to shop and die to your hearts content. The 700 Bus service also runs from Portsmouth to Brighton along the A259, just a few minutes troll giving access to all of the towns and villages in-between. However, it is the stunning bungalow that will pull you back time after time, with it's attention to detail that the owners have lovingly put together to provide a modern and easy living style. Step out from the kitchen/diner onto the westerly aspect patio to enjoy a summer BBQ or just relax with a good book. The mature and picturesque garden is a haven for gardeners of all abilities. Step back inside and the comfort of this home abounds with a stunning en-suite off of the main bedroom and with guests bedroom also enjoying it's on en-suite. The 24ft living room and 18ft 6" study/bedroom three are both twin aspect and therefore both light and airy. The superbly re-fitted kitchen allows for a relaxed dining and cooking experience.

What the Owner says:

Having moved to what we intended to be our 'forever home', we set about completely renovating it, modernising every room and using high quality materials everywhere so that it would last our entire lifetimes. The garden also was completely transformed from many layers of concrete to what it is today. We feel that all this has resulted in a welcoming, light house that has wonderfully big rooms and indeed friends and family all love spending time in the garden, having lunch under the pergola, BBQ's with friends in the evening sun, and eating all the fresh produce that we grow ourselves in the large vegetable plot and filling lots of vases with our own cut flowers in the summer. It is with great sadness that our circumstances are forcing a move.
