Constructed around 1905 by Italian designer Romolo Piazzani, renowned for his elegant landscaped gardens, and with portions of the building dating from the 18th century, Ryton Hall served some time as the rectory for picturesque St Andrews’ Church, located opposite. Having enjoyed a varied history as a school, training centre and eventually a private residence, in the late 1990s the Hall was sympathetically converted into ten luxurious apartments, retaining majestic period entrances, high ceilings and huge window recesses, fitted with excellent double-glazed replicas. The rarity of country house conversions surely affords an element of exclusivity to any opportunity to own and reside in such pleasingly opulent surroundings, coupled with an elevated situation which offers views across the Shropshire countryside, in an exceedingly tranquil rural village location.
This gorgeous apartment is located on the eastern side of the Hall, exploiting the beautiful views available from this aspect. The sole property in the building which enjoys the benefit of being spread over three floors, this elegant home encompasses a vast reception room, spacious and well-appointed kitchen and dining spaces, and two splendid double bedrooms to the first-floor, including the elegant master suite with en suite bathroom. The versatile second-floor room offers a potential third bedroom, or an invaluable home office with stunning scenic views.
